Hey people,I heard comments from people that band is losing our standard and the passion for music is declining. Please be more enthu towards band just like how we used to be in the past.The seniors,teachers and Ms Chong put in so much effort in our band,we cannot let them down ok? Charissa : i hope that you had read my letter (: Thanks for all the encouragements you gave me all these while,i really feel very touched after reading your letter and it made me feel more confident too! I’m sad because I’m graduating from FSMB in another 24 hours time. Yet, I’m happy because it’s time for the sec 3s to take over the reins. It’s a bittersweet feeling. Here’s to each and every one of you, special in your own unique sense, with love from your nice SL. We’ll always remain a family. A GIGANTIC close-knitted family. I love you all! :D - To Hui Ni and Ching Yee, my next 2 leaders: The one who eats her hair and the one who is ‘older’ than the rest of us. You’re going to lead a big section. Persevere, be strong and be a good example to the rest. I’ll definitely miss the lame things we always talk about or do, and “How old are you?!” from the 2 of you. - And to the rest, Listen to your SL’s, respect them. Emulate good examples to the juniors because you’ll be role models to them. - To my dearest sec 4s: Guinevere, Cheryl, Wei Shen (Bean!), Jia Jun. It’s been 4 wonderful years. The first song we ever played was Blue Ridge Saga! Ah, we started learning the clarinet from scratch, went through everything together. So many fond memories I’ll hold dear. - Finally to Bean: Hi Bean! You’ve made a wonderful ASL. Thank you for tolerating with silly old me these 2 years. It was a great experience leading the section with you. Hello folks! Since there's band everyday until friday's 10th anniversary celebrations, please take care of your lips and throat, not forgetting drinking plenty of water. Apply lip balm, do warm down exercise, and drink water. Tomorrow, please turn up in FULL band attire.

In exactly 1 week’s time, we sec 4s will graduate from band. Guin, Bean, Cheryl, Jia Jun and I. I’ve not been the best sectional leader, but if I could turn back time, I’d have tried to be a better one. Probably a better one than the present one I am. I remember why I decided to join band in the first place, 4 years ago. Because I thought it was a fun cca. Because everyone from band seemed so happy. Because of my love for music. And it is true! We are one big happy family. I most definitely have no regrets whatsoever being a member of Fuhua Secondary Military Band. In fact, I am proud to be part of the band family. - So, let’s treasure our remaining 1 week together. 1 more week before our time in band comes to a close. - Remember this, my dears: "Beginnings are scary.
